Giant, glowing trains. Kids dressed up as nutcrackers. Families in scarves eating those cones of sugary almonds. It doesn’t feel like the holidays until you’re freezing your toes off on Nicollet Mall, watching the Holidazzle Parade. The best part about doing so as an adult is that you can drink beer, which warms you up from the inside out, way more effectively than hot chocolate can. If you’re into celebrating Minnesota high school marching bands and chamber choirs, you can yell positive things as they walk by in droves. Go drummer boys!
