Good news for Minnesotan fans of Dogfish Head—you’ll no longer have to make the trek across the border to Wisconsin to get their hands on the Delaware–based brewery’s lineup of “off-centered ales for off-centered people.” Dogfish Head has announced it plans to expand distribution to Missouri, Alabama, West Virginia, and—last but not least—Minnesota in 2017.

The move was announced this week in a press release regarding the official launch into New Mexico. In 2016, Dogfish Head tripled the size of its sales team to assist them in growing and supporting their current footprint. The expansion into Minnesota adds to the brewery’s Midwest distribution area, which includes Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois.

“In 2016, we have worked hard to lay the groundwork for a successful forward-looking expansion plan,” co-founder Sam Calagione said in a press release.

Founded by Sam and Mariah Calagione back in 1995, Dogfish Head has gained national acclaim for its popular 60 Minute IPA, 90 Minute IPA, and 120 Minute IPA, as well as its Ancient Ales series which recreates historical brews from thousands of years ago.
