Tuned In Brewed In’s Summer Outdoor Concert Preview
By Brian Kaufenberg
At times, living in Minnesota requires an extra dose of patience when it comes to the weather. This spring, to the ire of many sun-starved Minnesotans, we watched as April showers brought May snowstorms.
Luckily, our patience through one of the longest winters in memory will be rewarded this summer when we find ourselves sitting outside on the green grass listening to live music at the dozens of outdoor music concerts and festivals happening across the state.
Although River’s Edge Music Festival and Sound Town Music Festival (held in Somerset, Wisconsin) are on indefinite hiatus, the outdoor concerts and festivals scheduled this summer in Minnesota and western Wisconsin span all genres of music, and offer something for everyone. Here are a few to look forward to in the coming—and hopefully warmer—months.
