A Not at All Suspicious Interview with Jeff Nelson

G: What is your dream project?

JN: Every project I get is a dream project, because the client is familiar with my work and wants me to bring that to their project. That’s the stock answer. But my real dream project is to paint an elephant.

G: What jobs have you done other than being an artist?

JN: Projectionist, cook, musician, barista, dockhand.

G: Favorite local brewery that you haven’t done work for?

JN: Schell’s—great beer and peacocks.

G: What’s in your fridge right now?

JN: Some Left Hand Milk Stout, one [Grainbelt] Nordeast, and the perfect-sized hole for a pan of apple crisp.

G: What else do you think our readers should know about you?

JN: Philip Seymour Hoffman is tired of being told that he looks like me.

About Joseph Alton

  1. I thought I recognized the name and wry sense of humor. Been a longtime fan of Jeff’s 3 Minute Hero band…didn’t know the guy was an awesome artist too! Now I know who to go to when I need some SkArt done for my future brewery.
