Bad Weather To Release OMINOUS Nov 18th. (Chance of Snow)

Bad Weather Brewing Co.’s so-called “cold weather seasonal,” OMINOUS, is set to be released on draft Nov 18th – uncanny timing, considering there is a chance of snow forecasted that day. Call it (bad) luck or marketing genius, either way, Bad Weather’s own description for OMINOUS makes a great case for enjoying their seasonal brew come Monday:

“Clouds grow dark, the wind picks up, a chill sets in – the weather is not looking good. Thankfully, our cold weather seasonal OMINOUS is the perfect beer for this situation. Warming from the inside out, it’s a good reason to stay indoors. At 7.5% ABV this Midwest Warmer has layers to stand up the the most frigid winter nights or rain-soaked spring days. American, English and Belgian Malts come together to satisfy the soul with rich, nutty roasted flavors. Dark candi [sic] sugar brings out hints of dates, raisins, plum and chocolate. OMINOUS is a dark storm of a beer – big, intense and something to keep your eye on.”

Grumpy’s NE will be hosting a release party for OMINOUS starting at 4PM (11/18). OMINOUS will initially be released on draft, with bottles to follow soon.
