Bent Brewstillery’s El Guerrero Chilean Double Stout is growing “older, wiser” after a restful stint in oak barrels. The newly reborn Ol’ Guerrero Barrel Aged Chilean Double Stout will be released on April 10 in the Bent Brewstillery taproom from 2:30–11pm (no cover).
According to the Bent Brewstillery website, the barrel aging process “balances the complexity of aged whiskey, strength of espresso, spiciness of smoky peppers, and sweetness of wildflower honey” in this foreign stout. Clocking in at 10.1% ABV and 40 IBU, it’s clear that the “Old Warrior” hasn’t lost any of its power.
