The 30bbl brewery in Duluth, Minnesota, made quite a splash in the craft beer community in their first year and are going to celebrate with an outdoor festival Saturday, May 17 in the brewery’s Lincoln parking lot from 12–6pm.

“We are so grateful to the overwhelming response from our craft beer drinking customers in the Twin Ports and beyond over the last year that we wanted to celebrate by hosting a big, family-friendly shindig on our anniversary!” says Bryon Tonnis, Co-Founder and Director of Brewing Operations.

Festiversary 2014 will will feature a large assortment of Bent Paddle beer for purchase on draft and in cans, as well as specialty cask ales, live music, food trucks, a MinnesSODA booth by Fizzy Waters featuring only Minnesota-made non-alcoholic beverages, and a vibrant activities area presented by Frost River Trading Co.

Proceeds from the Frost River Trading Co. Activities Area will benefit COGGS (Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores) and will feature assorted children’s activities plus adult activities such as canoe pack relay races, hammerschlagen, a Crisco uses contest, minnow races, bear hugs from Mark and much more.

In addition to the Frost River partnership, Bent Paddle Brewing Co. will use Festiversary to showcase their year-round partnerships with other local businesses.  Sit in the Loll Designs Lollygagger Lounge, enjoy a coffee drink from Duluth Coffee Co., try the Vikre Distillery Botanical Blonde cask, and stand at a barrel table provided by Duluth Barrel Works.
