Southern Tier
ABV: 9%

Southern Tier Compass is a very interesting beer. Citrus hops truly dominate. Hints of grape pop out as this beer finishes a lot like a hoppy champagne. Slightly bubbly, this bottle conditioned ale has a light body with a sweet bitterness. Imperial Compass pours a nice hazy gold is a truly refreshing American-style Pale Ale.

Imperial Pumpkin
ABV: 8.1%

Fall can be one of the best seasons. Not only is it hoodie weather, but time for the malty beers to roll through! To say that Epic Imperial Pumpkin Porter is one to watch for is an understatement. Pouring a nice, roasty, dark amber with a rich, spicy flavor, this brew is a malt explosion. The taste of vanilla and nutmeg really stand out as this beer is more like a dessert than a beverage. The pumpkin is not overstated and hits your palate perfectly. This beer works well for dinner as well. I would pair this porter with some roasted chicken or some similar, savory bird.

Two Brothers
Hop Centric Double IPA
ABV: 9.9%, IBU: 100.1

Two Brothers Hop Centric is a force to be reckoned with, folks. Clocking in at 9.9% ABV and 100.1 IBUs this double IPA is not a mere sidekick, but a show-stopping juggernaut. The perfect golden amber complexion is complimented a strong, fruity nose. Hop Centric is very rich with plenty of malt flavors and a grapefruit bitterness. This beer is slightly boozy, but nothing outrageous. The fruity hops hide the alcohol quite well.

Big Wood
Bark Bite IPA
ABV: 6.6%, IBU: 66

Big Wood is getting a lot of notice as of late, and rightfully so. They are brewing great beers and Bark Bite is no exception. Pouring a light golden color, the aroma won’t jump out at you by no means. You still get a nice scent of citrus and sweet malts. Nice and bitter, Big Wood Bark Bite is a top form brew giving you sweet pine and grapefruit flavors with a perfect amount of underlying malt. I feel it’s too easy pairing an IPA with pizza, but at the same time Bark Bite is a perfect pizza beer!

R & R Coconut IPA
ABV: 7.7%, IBU: 90

R&R Coconut IPA is a collage of flavors. This beer pours with a nice, golden color and has a fruity nose filled with coconut complimented with citrusy hops.  The subtle sweetness won’t overwhelm your palate as it blends perfectly with the fruity hops. R&R finishes hoppy with a nice bitterness that Stone does so well. Enjoy this beer while it’s around. A good food pairing would be BBQ chicken.
