Boom Island Opens Taproom February 1st

Boom Island Taproom

Boom Island Taproom

Boom Island Brewing Company is back up and running! Their new taproom will be ready to pour February 1st from noon to 9:00pm. Regular hours will be Wednesday through Friday 4-9pm, Saturdays 1-9pm starting February 5th. Scheduled tours will pop up later, so stay updated on our events page and sign up for the Boom Island newsletter.

It is also bittersweet that their production of LoMoMO has ended. Boom Island began brewing LoMoMO Palooza (Locked Out Musicians of the Minnesota Orchestra) a year ago as a way to help support continuing community outreach and educational concerts. They helped produce $3,800 to this worthy cause. Although the production has ended, you can still enjoy the remaining kegs at our taproom until they’re tapped out. In addition, there are a few bottles available at retailers.

Now, how do you find their new location? They are on 2014 Washington Avenue North, ½ block north of the intersection of Washington and Broadway off 94. It is recommended that you park on the street on Washington, on 21st Ave, or on N. 2nd St (Donny Dirk’s is at the corner of 21st Ave North and N. 2nd St) as the parking lot is very small. The taproom’s entrance is at the back of the building.
