Enjoy the best of the season at the annual Northern Foragers Dinner with Loews Minneapolis Hotel at Cosmos on Thursday, August 22. Executive Chef Timothy Fischer, an expert forager, is creating a six-course dinner incorporating foraged ingredients in both the dishes and the cocktail pairings.
Chef Fischer, a St. Paul native, infuses his cuisine with the freshest ingredients available. An avid outdoorsman and forager, Chef Fischer imparts flavors from the waters and woods of Minnesota throughout his cuisine. His culinary vision incorporates a true taste of Minnesota in a refined, yet approachable way.
On Thursday, August 22, diners can experience a taste of Minnesota’s edible wild at the Northern Foragers Dinner that will showcase the best products from the North Woods in each course and cocktail. The six-course menu* will feature:
Chicken and Shrimp (mushroom) Fritto Misto
Superior Forest Salad
Pickled Chanterelles, Ground Cherries, Foraged Summer Greens, Blueberry Vinaigrette

Additionally, each course will be expertly paired with a beverage including a choice of wine, hand crafted cocktails that feature foraged ingredients, and a non-alcoholic option.
The Northern Foragers Dinner will take place on Thursday, August 22 at 6 p.m. Reservations are required. The six-course dinner and beverage pairings is $110 per person. A 20% gratuity is added to ticket prices. Price does not include tax. Reservations can be made online. Space is limited and is on a first sold basis.
