FINNEGANS is helping the community in more ways than ever.
For 14 years FINNEGANS has set the bar for giving back in the Twin Cities. In 2000 the company was founded with a truly innovative business model that allows them to be a self-sustaining and social business. FINNEGANS has made it their mission to “turn beer into food” by donating 100% of the profits made from the sale of their two beers, Amber Ale and Blonde Ale, to the FINNEGANS Community Fund, a 501(c)(3), to support hunger alleviation programs. All of the money they raise, they give back to the community. How cool is that?
This March, FINNEGANS is taking their fundraising to a whole new level. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, FINNEGANS will unveil their newest venture: The Reverse Food Truck. This food truck from the minds of Martin|Williams Advertising, a pro-bono partner, will literally be on a “food drive,” collecting non-perishable food items and donations all over Minnesota in partnership with Emergency Foodshelf Network’s Harvest for the Hungry Program.
FINNEGANS Reverse Food Truck will make it’s debut on Saturday, March 15th outside Kieran’s Irish Pub as part of St. Patrick’s Weekend celebration. The truck will be parked outside Kieran’s all weekend, then will begin its food drive stopping outside of all sorts of different locations.
FINNEGANS goal is to raise $5,000 in the month of March and ultimately $50,000 in September when the food drive ends. For more information on FINNEGANS community activism or the Reverse Food Truck check out their website.
