Fulton’s Patience Barleywine Release, Duluth Expansion, and MNBA Punchcard

unnamed

Fulton will be releasing their newest addition to the Garage Series this weekend with Patience Barleywine. On Saturday you’ll be able to grab yourself a 10oz pour of this new 13.2% ABV beer, or perhaps, a bottle. Act quickly though, because there is only a little over 200 cases produced, making this Fulton’s smallest bottling run. Liquor stores will receive small quantities next week and a handful of kegs will make it out to the bars.

In addition to their new beer release, Fulton is happy to announce their expansion has made it up to Duluth! They will launch January 21st at Grandma’s in Canal Park. Tickets are $55 (including all beer, food, tax & gratuity) and can be reserved by calling 218-727-4192. The next day, they’ll host a tap takeover at Grizzly’s where you’ll be able to find Sweet Child of Vine, Lonely Blonde, and rare treats such as Libertine, Batch 300, and maybe even the all-new Patience. If you can’t make it out to the launch on the 21st and 22nd have no fear, draft lines will spread throughout Duluth and bottles will make it into the liquor stores later this year.

Not that you need an excuse to visit more breweries, but if you want some perks you can pick up a Minnesota Brewers Association Punchcard. The MNBA punchcards come in two versions, one for growlers, the other for pints. The growler version retails for $75 and gets you a growler fill (growler deposit not included) at each of 11 participating breweries, while the pint punchcard retails for $35 and can be redeemed at 10 different breweries. The only way to get one is by visiting a participating local brewery. Participating breweries include Fulton, Indeed, Liftbridge, Excelsior, Castle Danger, Steeltoe, 612, Hammerheart, Third Street, Bent Paddle, Jack Pine, Flat Earth, and Northgate. Quantities are limited, so pick one up before they’re gone.
