B is for… Brewpubs

According to the Brewers Association, half of the nation’s 2,000+ breweries are designated as brewpubs. These pubs are not only the source of the freshest, quality beer around, but also food menus full of gastronomic wonders to complement their beer. This year’s festival featured 35 brewpubs from across the nation in the Brewpub Pavilion, not to mention a handful of brewpubs mixed in with the brewery tables on the main floor including Minnesota’s own Minneapolis Town Hall and Fitger’s Brewhouse.

Our journey downtown took us to Wynkoop Brewing Company, the first brewpub in Colorado and Denver’s first-ever brewery, where they serve up fresh beer and New European cuisine. We grabbed a growler of B3K Black Lager for later in the evening.
