From the Foster:

Bean is a very sweet pup. He likes to give kisses and be near you. He loves the resident dogs and tries very hard to get them play, so another playful dog in the home would be nice, although not mandatory, as long as he has an outlet for his energy. He seems pretty quiet overall, but that could change as he gets more comfortable. The first time in a crate in the foster home, he did show that he has quite a howl (he sounded like he was trying to form words!) so shared walls would not be a good idea. He did quiet down in his crate as soon as he had company in the room. He has been going into the crate willingly for a treat and is quiet at night. I have not seen him with children, but from what I’ve seen of his temperament, I would think he’d do well. He is a little shy of strangers and just needs a little time to warm up. House training seems good, although any puppy can regress when they go to a new home. Overall, he’s a great puppy and is bound to make an active family very happy.
