There will be hundreds of beers flowing at the Summer Beer Dabbler, this Saturday, August 20th at CHS Field (and tickets are going fast so get yours now).
But if a person had to narrow it down to five beers not to miss…
Bent Paddle Old Fashioned ESB
The winners of the Lord Dabbler’s Cup at the Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival last February, Bent Paddle will look to hold onto the title with an oak barrel-aged version of their 14° ESB that’s been fermented with orange zest and cherries, giving it a classic cocktail vibe.
Bent Brewstillery Oakmeal Stout
That’s no typo. Ever the experimenters when it comes to barrel aging, Bent’s Oakmeal is a double stout that’s been fermented on French oak.
Canal Park Floral Kölsch
What tastes better in the humid dog days of summer than a light and refreshing Kölsch? Canal Park’s version will come infused with hibiscus and rose hips.
Door County Brewing Ex-Cowboy
Looking for something a little more dry and bitter? Swing by Door County’s tent for this rye pale ale fermented with a Norwegian farmhouse yeast culture, then dry-hopped with Azacca hops.
Able Seedhouse Infused First Light
Able is taking their already-juicy First Light IPA and giving it a boost with an infusion of passion fruit, grapefruit, and pineapple. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this keg get drained rather quickly.
