Bad Weather Brewing Company is throwing a grand opening party for their new St. Paul brewery and taproom on Oct. 9 from 3pm–12am. The brewery is located at 414 W 7th St, just five blocks down from the Xcel Energy Center. On tap for the event will be Bad Weather’s flagship, Windvane, seasonals Omnious, Firefly Rye, and Migration, plus four brand new beers they’ll be announcing the week leading up to the opening.

Bad Weather was launched by co-founders Zac Carpenter and Joe Giambruno in March 2013 as an alternating proprietorship with Lucid Brewing, which allowed them to enter the market and begin establishing their brand. The new brewery and taproom will allow Bad Weather to continue expanding their reach and increase their capacity.

Bad Weather has been brewing at their new space for the past several weeks in preparation for their grand opening.

“Our new space gives us the opportunity to really introduce drinkers to our brewery in a way that has not been possible to this point.” Carpenter said in a press release. “Increased flexibility in brewing out of our own space, and serving directly to the taproom will allow us to play with many more varieties of beer while keeping complete control of the process. We look forward to sharing our creativity with the community.”
