Barnes & Noble has announced plans to serve beer and wine, along with an expanded food menu, in four revamped stores over the next fiscal year. The first will open in Eastchester, New York, in October. Soon after, the B&N in the Edina Galleria will follow suit.
B&N sees food and beverage, which accounts for under 10% of its current revenue, as a prime opportunity to increase sales.
