Bent Paddle Brewing Co. released its biggest beer to date on Wednesday, February 3.
Barrel-aged Double Shot Double Black is a robust version of Bent Paddle’s black ale and features a “double shot” of cold-press coffee and whole-bean Madagascar vanilla. It was aged in bourbon barrels, lending it “notes of oak and whiskey…and a welcoming warmth.”
It clocks in at a whopping 11.2% ABV and 52 IBUs, and is being sold in 750 milliliter bottles and on select taps around the state. This is a limited release, so grab a bottle sooner rather than later if you want to try this antidote to winter’s chill.
