Things are happening in the Midwest’s distilling scene. Here’s a few notable updates from the past weeks.
Wollersheim Winery of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, opened the doors to its new distillery. The distillery is making all-Wisconsin brandy, apple brandy, gin, and absinthe. Read more at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Lawless Distilling in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is set to release its first product in the coming weeks. The distillery’s Tippling House Vodka is being made from wheat harvested from co-owner Chris Kulzer’s uncle farm in Cold Spring, Minnesota. Read more at Minnesota Daily.
