J. Carver Distillery is no stranger to grain-to-glass spirits, whether it’s gins, vodkas, or whiskeys produced at their Waconia, Minnesota, facility.

On Monday, April 10, J. Carver announced it would be adding three new spirits—Brickyard Straight Bourbon, Runestone Straight Rye, and Island View Brandy—to its lineup, each distilled and aged in Minnesota-made barrels.

“Non-chill filtered spirits including bourbon, rye, wheat, and malted whiskeys continue to be our focus at J. Carver Distillery,” states founder Bill Miller in a press release. “We believe it is important to show that unique whiskeys and brandy can be made in Minnesota and by using the non-chill filter method, we enhance the smooth, flavorful quality of our whiskey.”

While all three new spirits were aged for over two years in barrels coopered in Minnesota, each carries a distinct mash up. Brickyard Bourbon is a corn and red winter wheat bourbon, while the mixture of Minnesota rye and malted rye reflect Runestone Straight Rye. As for the brandy, Island View was made in collaboration with local vintners growing cool climate grapes.
