The anticipation for fans of Rock the Garden, the annual summer concert presented by 89.3 The Current and Walker Art Center, is over. This year’s music lineup was announced Tuesday morning and it’s as stacked as ever.
Due to construction at Walker Art Center, Rock the Garden 2016 will be a one-day affair on June 18 at Boom Island Park in Northeast Minneapolis. Though just one day, the concert will be rocking two stages featuring local groups like GRRRL PRTY, Hippo Campus, and Poliça, and national acts Plague Vendor, M. Ward, Chance the Rapper, and the concert headliner The Flaming Lips.
