Odell Brewing Company are rolling out their beer in 12oz. cans, beginning with flagships 90 Shilling and IPA. Twelve-packs of the cans are beginning to ship out of the brewery this week and should be on store shelves in Minnesota and elsewhere before Thanksgiving.

Odell founder Doug Odell said in a press release that they conducted years of research and planning before purchasing their canning line, which packages around 310 cans per minute.

Initially only the two flagships will be available in cans, but early next year Loose Leaf Session Ale and summer seasonal St. Lupulin will also be available in cans.

The brewery will mark the introduction of cans with a food drive and celebration in their Fort Collins, Colorado, taproom on Wednesday, November 11. Attendees who bring in two or more canned food items will get one free canned beer.
