Surly offers MN United defender Justin Davis one-case per game contract

In a video tweeted by Minnesota United FC last week, defender Justin Davis proclaimed his readiness to “sell out” to a local brewery willing to sponsor his potentially fine-inducing post-game celebration—a “Lambeau Leap” that ends with him chugging/spraying a can of Strongbow into the crowd (see 1:44 in the above video).

Yesterday, Surly Brewing responded with what they call a “serious offer.”

Whether or not Davis will take Surly up on their offer remains to be seen.

Minnesota United FC will play their 2017 season at TCF Bank Stadium while their new home in St. Paul is being constructed.
