With all the West Coast breweries building second facilities on the East Coast, Sweetwater Brewing is flipping the script.

The Atlanta-based brewing company purchased the brewing equipment from a recently closed Pyramid Brewing brewery in Berkeley, California, and will use it to open a second production facility on the West Coast by 2017, according to a report by Brewbound.

The used brewing equipment from Pyramid includes a fully-automated, four-vessel, 130-barrel brewhouse, three silos, and over 31 fermentation and brite beer tanks, allowing Sweetwater to produce upwards of 400,000 barrels at its western production facility.
