The 81 companies promising action on climate change

The White House announced today that 81 companies have signed the American Business Act on Climate Pledge to demonstrate their support for action on climate change.

These 81 companies have operations in all 50 states, employ over 9 million people, represent more than $3 trillion in annual revenue, and have a combined market capitalization of over $5 trillion.

By signing the pledge, the companies are demonstrating their commitment to work toward a low-carbon, sustainable future. The pledge precedes the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference taking place November 30-December 11 in Paris.
