Children’s Theatre Company announced its 51st season today, with highlights including four musicals and two world premieres.

The 2016–2017 season begins in July with a reprise of “Pinocchio,” followed by “Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play!,” written by acclaimed children’s author Mo Willems.

The fall brings the world premiere of “The Last Firefly,” a fantastical tale about a boy’s transformational journey to find his father. The holidays will let loose with the over-the-top CTC favorite “Cinderella.”

February 2017 unleashes a brand new musical production of Dr. Seuss’ “The Sneetches.” Closing the season will be the three-time Tony Award nominated “A Year with Frog and Toad,” which hasn’t graced the CTC stage in almost a decade.
