Michigan’s Upper Hand Brewery will be expanding to a pint glass near you in early 2017.

Minnesota will be the third state to distribute the Escanaba, Michigan-based brewery’s beer. Currently, Upper Hand’s limited footprint includes only Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin. While the relative newcomer is a division of the legendary Bell’s Brewery in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Upper Hand crafts an entirely different line of unique beers.

Luckily for thirsty Minnesotans, you’ll get the full gamut of what Upper Hand has to offer, including their four year-round beers (Upper Peninsula Ale, Escanaba Black Beer, Upper Hand Lager, and Yooper Ale) and an array of seasonal and specialty concoctions.

“As we expand Upper Hand’s presence, it’s important for us to find the right distributor partners who share our values and dedication to providing good beer where it’s meant to be enjoyed,” Larry Bell, President and Founder off Bell’s said in a press release. “Upper Hand beers are only available throughout the north, and Minnesota is the perfect addition to our distribution footprint.”
