The 17th Annual Sound Unseen Film & Music Festival is taking place at various locations around Minneapolis and St. Paul, November 10-13.
The festival began with a focus on “films-on-music” and has since established itself as one of the premiere niche festivals in the country. It has grown to include year-round programming, pop-up events, screenings and more. This year’s festival includes documentaries, short films, special live performances, and more. The full lineup of events can be found here, and you can stay up to date by following the festival on Facebook.
The Growler is giving away a pair of tickets to the Minnesota premier of “A Song For You: The Austin City Limits Story“, which chronicles the long-running PBS series’ evolution and features recordings of performances from over the years, interviews with dozens of artists and fans, and untold insights from long-time producer Terry Lickona. The film will be screened on Friday, November 11, at 7:30pm at McNally Smith College of Music. Just fill out the below form to enter and we’ll choose a winner at random on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 4:30pm.
