G: Who is Bob Roepke?
BR: That’s me.

G: How did you get the nickname Friday Bob?
BR: When new ownership took over, they mainly witnessed me working on Fridays and started to call me Friday Bob. Nicknames don’t go away, even when I became Everyday Bob.

G: What are your other passions in life? Do they influence your brewing?
BR: Building and working on motorcycles, camping, traveling, chili peppers, spicy food, and Halloween. I’d have to say they do influence my brewing. I’ve also been a vegetarian for 22 years and incorporate that into my brews. I won’t use isinglass or gelatin to fine my beers.

G: What would you be doing if you weren’t brewing professionally?
BR: A job that incorporates one of my passions. But I still would be brewing at home.

G: Who has been your biggest individual influence in brewing?
BR: I really can’t say I have one single major influence. I draw a lot from my family and friends.

G: What keeps you inspired?
BR: The fantastic brews coming out of Minnesota.
