Drink

This will be your opportunity to taste offerings from your favorite breweries and discover some new breweries that are sure to make nice additions to your list. Your ticket scores you a keepsake Beer Dabbler glass plus unlimited samples of craft beers from over 25 local breweries including Fulton, Boom Island, Lift Bridge, Badger Hill, Olvalde, and NorthGate.

Eats

The local food truck scene has exploded in the Twin Cities, and this will be your opportunity to nosh on goodies from 25 of the best local food trucks and food carts. Enjoy snacks, full meals, and delectable desserts that are all sure to delight your palette – especially when thoughtfully combined with the beer samplings. Last year’s food and craft beer pairings included everything from Lamb Spiedini and Belgian-style White Ale to chocolate covered bacon and pretzel cupcakes from A Cupcake Social paired with Central Waters’ Mudpuppy Porter. This year, pairings are shaping up to be just as mouth-wateringly awesome.

Dangerous Man and Hola Arepa have teamed up to unleash a triple-threat of tasty pairing treats, each cooked with different Dangerous Man beer styles. You’ll be able to enjoy Dangerous Man’s Double IPA paired with Hola Arepa’s featured item – a mini arepa with pork braised in that same Double IPA, topped with tangy Hola Sauce and house-made queso fresco. Da-YUM! Summit and Taqueria La Hacienda are also bringing the heat this year with ridiculously vibrant Tacos al Pastor, topped with diced pineapple, cilantro and onion, to enjoy with a cold Summit Summer Ale. Or how about Sassy Spoon’s turkey meatballs with sweet soy dipping and Summer Brown Ale from the Herkimer Pub & Brewery?

If you’re looking for straight-up snack food as you stroll through Loring Park, try Neato’s duck fat fries smothered in Schell’s Firebrick beer cheese sauce with a Firebrick lager or Motley Crew’s spiced mini pretzels with a brew from Surly. We could keep going, but we think it would be best if you just show up and try as many incredible pairings as you can!

Entertainment and Activities

Now that we have your taste buds on overdrive, let’s complete the experience with incredible live music and activities.

The Lavender Magazine Stage will feature the musical stylings of Tickle Torture, Koo Koo Kanga Roo, and Apollo Cobra.

Stop by the StuartCo photo booth with your friends and create a few souvenirs to take home and remember all the fun you had.

Seward Community Co-op will sponsor the Education Tent that will include food sampling, demonstrations, local farmer profiles, and more.

Commuter Connection and Metro Transit will provide free bus passes for the day of the event on the Beer Dabbler website.
