Rock The Cause Presents Glitter Ball 5

Are you ready to dance? Get ready to bust out your dance moves, because on Saturday, March 29th at 7:30pm Rock the Cause will present Glitter Ball 5: Funk & Soul Express. This year the party will be held in the atrium of the historic Grain Belt Bottling House in Northeast Minneapolis and there will be more music, fashion, and charitable giving than ever before.

Glitter Ball Rock the Cause

Rock The Cause has chosen Ampersand Families, an organization that “champions practices in adoption and permanency that restore belonging, dignity and hope for youth,” to support and partner with for this event.

So now that you know you’ll be dancing for a good cause, what will you dance to? Black Joe Lewis and his 10-piece band will be bringing classic American blues, funk, and soul all the way from Austin, Texas to Minneapolis for this one-night event. On top of that, there will be live covers from Viva Knievel, as well as special guests John Tolliver from Black Diet, Chris Koza from Rogue Valley, Gabriel Douglas from The 4onthefloor, and many more.

Attendees are asked to dress in ’70s funkadelic-inspired fashion, so pull out your old bell-bottom jeans and patterned dresses and be prepared for a jump back in history. There will also be a fashion show presented by Rock the Causes’ partner Jungle Red, who’s Treasures for Teens program supports Avenue For Homeless Youth

Admission is just $30 in advance or $40 at the door. To purchase your tickets for this night of dancing and charitable giving, go to TicketFly.
