Yesterday was the official start of spring, but Summit Brewing has summer on the brain. The St. Paul brewery’s summer sampler pack, dubbed the Boundary Waters Box, will begin hitting store shelves next week.

Included in the sampler is a brand new beer, Summit Wit Bier, a 4.8% ABV, 15 IBU Belgian-style white ale brewed with orange peel, grains of paradise, and fresh-ground coriander. According to a press release, for a unique spin on this classic style, Summit Head Brewer Damian McConn chose to use 100 percent Mandarina Bavaria hops and an obscure Belgian white yeast strain “for aromas of peach, apricot, and additional citrus refreshment.” Summit will be tapping the first keg of the beer in their Beer Hall on March 23.

Also included in the Boundary Waters Box is the return of Summit Hefeweizen, Keller Pils, and Summer Ale.
