This weekend marks the 239th year since the U.S. declared its independence from Great Britain and the first time since Prohibition people will be able to buy beer on Sunday in Minnesota’s capital city. If that’s not cause for celebration, we don’t know what is.
Cities across the state are updating their ordinances to allow Sunday growler sales following a law change at the state level that permits breweries to do so pending local approval. In St. Paul, the change goes into effect on July 5. Below is a list of where and when you can buy a growler in the Saintly City on Sundays.

Burning Brothers, 1750 Thomas Ave W, St. Paul, MN 55104 – 2–6pm (free pint with every growler purchase on July 5)
Flat Earth, 688 Minnehaha Ave E, St. Paul, MN 55106 – 12–6:30pm
Great Waters, 426 St Peter St, St. Paul, MN 55102 – 11am–8pm ($12 growlers during the month of July, kitchen open until 11pm, bar open until 2am)
Sidhe, 990 Payne Ave, St. Paul, MN 55130 – 12–7pm
Tin Whiskers, 125 E 9th St, St. Paul, MN 55101 – 12–5pm
Urban Growler, 2325 Endicott St, St. Paul, MN 55114 – 12–8pm
