With over 150 breweries now pouring their beer in Minnesota, there’s always something new to try. To keep you up-to-date, we present The Mash-Up—our weekly rundown of new beers and seasonal releases in Minnesota from your favorite local and national breweries. Visit growlermag.com every Friday for the latest or sign up for a weekly email.

It’s time for birthday beers. Multiple breweries are celebrating anniversaries this weekend. Bent Brewstillery’s taproom is now four years old and they’ll be marking the occasion with a special Belgian strong ale and a new cocktail menu to show off some of their spirits from the other side of their operation. On the North Shore, Castle Danger Brewery is celebrating seven years with a two-day party starting today. Across the North Dakota border, Fargo Brewing is celebrating their eighth anniversary. And in Stillwater, Lift Bridge Brewing Company is throwing a day-long party Saturday in honor of hitting the decade mark and being the oldest operating taproom in Minnesota.

In other news, Dangerous Man’s logo appeared on cans in area liquor stores for the first time this week thanks to a collaboration with Modist for the new Lemongrab Pink Lemonade IPA. That spirit of collaboration continues this Sunday at the NE Brewer’s Block Party at Sociable Cider Werks, where several Minneapolis breweries will be pouring their beers on the cidery-brewery’s home turf.

Each week, The Growler’s editorial team highlights five of the most tantalizing new beers hitting taps and store shelves that we’re most excited to try.
