Endion Station Public House in Duluth’s Canal Park is set to become the fifth restaurant venue for Just Take Action Inc., the Fitger’s Brewhouse parent company. The Endion Station building was originally located in the Endion neighborhood in east Duluth, serving both passenger and freight traffic until 1978. The building was relocated to Canal Park in 1986 during the extension of I-35, and the building was purchased by the Fitger’s empire back in 2012. Endion’s focus looks to be on ciders, with multiple cider tap lines as well as a few Fitger’s Brewhouse beers and a full bar.

Boom Island Brewing has announced new happy hours from 4-6pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, during which all pints at the brewery will be $3.

A couple of beer dinners of note happening this week: Harriet Brewing will host a beer dinner and tap takeover at Icehouse on Thursday in celebration of their Pils release. Also on Thursday, join in a progressive beer dinner with Foodies On Foot in Stillwater, featuring Lift Bridge brews at every stop.

And if you haven’t purchased your tickets for the Beer Dabbler at Twin Cities Pride this weekend, you’d best get on that.

A new patented slushie machine from Kirin Ichiban delivers a frozen soft-serve cap of beer foam to continuously chill your pint. And Jelly Belly has released draft beer flavored jelly beans.
