Eighty years after the repeal of Prohibition, Minnesota’s craft distilling industry continues to gain momentum. This week a new distillery signed a lease in Northeast Minneapolis.
Wander North Distillery is the project of Brian Winter, a veteran of the Minnesota Army National Guard, who hopes to be “distilling high quality spirits from locally sourced grains” by summer of 2014. Located at 771 Harding St. NE, Minneapolis, Wander North Distillery is still in the process of acquiring their federal permit.
